About AJ Tensile

A J Tensile Fabrications Ltd have worked with clients developing new products and those with long established product lines who just require a manufacturer.

We provide a service second to none, working closely with all our clients and can provide a repair service, if required. We produce high quality finished goods to our customers’ demanding specifications and timetables.

All work is quality checked before despatch. Our aim is to produce all our finished products on time and right first time. In our 7500 sq ft production facility we have several HF welding machines ranging in size
from 5kw to 16kw with tables up to 30m long.

We also have PTFE/ETFE welding equipment. Our staff has extensive experience in the fabric industry and work to the high standards demanded of them. We have the capability to perform biaxial testing and destruction testing, if required, as well as fabric patterning and design.

We installed in may 2008 an Orion 2100 blade cutter/plotter (supplied and installed by Blackman and White) configured for blade cutting fabrics for tensile structures fitted with laser pointer & carriage jog control system and AlphaCAM advanced profiling software with a 3mtr wide by 15mtr long bed.
